Firstly, I cannot give enough congratulations to our Superintendant Craig Hanney and his entire team for the phenomenal job that they have done to get the course in the sensational condition that it is in right now. Many extra hours were put in by the whole team to get us where we are today. So from myself and all of the golfers of Muscat, Well Done.
My Congratulations also go out to Yousuf Al Balushi and Ian Morrison for taking out victories in the Sayyid Rawy Cup and Oman Open Competitions recently. These were the first ever competitions held on an 18 hole grass course in the country so the two of you now hold a part of history in golf in the Sultanate of Oman.
Well done to my operations team during the two events as they all put in outstanding performances to give the golfers of Muscat and abroad a taste of what we can achieve here at Muscat Hills. A lot of preparation went into the two events and it proved that we have come a long way from humble beginnings where our first day of work was to explain that ‘this is a golf ball and we hit it from here to there.’ We really have come a long way. So Mabrook!
Regards,
Jay
